Showing the love of Jesus to the homeless and poor in Henderson County

Love in Action provides meals, washer/dryer facilities, mail boxes and other services to the homeless in our community.  This ministry provides meals for the homeless on the days

when the Soup Kitchen is closed.

Congregation members of FPC, Athens rotate quarterly to oversee the cooking and items needed for the monthly meal that is provided and served on the 4th Friday of each month at the Henderson County Homeless Ministry.  

FPC-Athens provide financially for this ministry as well as the monthly meals

and item donations throughout the year.
