821 Ministries/Rebecca Project

821 Ministiries/Rebecca Project, provides meals on the weekends to shut-ins across Henderson County who during the week get "Meals on Wheels" delivered to their home.  This group, led by Jim and Jana Thompson, along with numerous volunteers from the community and FPC-Athens, prepare, assemble and take meals to these families.

The First Presbyterian Church provides, on a weekly basis,

a kitchen and staging area for 821 Ministries/Rebecca Project.
