We met our goal for 2021 by going Four for Four!

In 2021, it was the goal of FPC's Missions & Community Concerns committee to become a "Four for Four" congregation by generously contributing to all the year's "special offerings" opportunities.  Through YOUR generosity we were able to meet our goal.

Let's do it again in 2022.  If you do not know what the four special offerings are or what they are used for, well here is your opportunity.  They are:

1. One Great Hour of Sharing (collected March 2 to April 17) - 100 percent of this offering goes to the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA) addressing hunger, disaster, and development needs.

2. Pentecost (collected April 18 to June 5) - 40 percent of this offering serves children at FPC Athens, while 60 percent goes to the PMA.

3. Peace and Global Witness (collected September 4 to October 2) - 25 percent goes to peacemaking/reconciliation efforts at FPC Athens, while 25 percent goes to the Mid-Dash Council and 50 percent goes to PMA.

4. Christmas Joy (collected November 27 to December 18) - 100 percent of this offering goes to PMA to support active and retired church leaders and personnel.

We invite everyone to join us again as we serve the Lord through these special times of giving.  If you wish to contribute to any of these special offerings, here are some ways that you can do that.  You can write a personal check made out to FPC Athens (please designate the campaign in the memo line) and drop it in the offering plate or in the mail.  To make giving even easier,  you can click the red "Online Giving" button below and designate it to the campaign in the memo section.
