Camp Gilmont 2012

Twelve kids & three adult leaders, went to Camp Gilmont for Kid Quake 2012, March 23rd-25th. They left on Friday night & traveled to Gilmer, TX, approx. 80 miles northeast of Athens.  They spent 2 nights & 2 days in group time, bible study, crafts, sports, nature hikes & much more. Energizers, is the time when everyone comes together in the main hall, & has a fun time of singing praise songs & dancing, getting pumped up for all the exciting things to come. They stayed in cabins shared with other church families within Grace Presbytery. They enjoyed 4 meals while there, breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday & breakfast on Sunday before heading home. 

 

Kid Quake is in the Spring for the kids of the church, ages 1st-5th grades. They come together during this weekend growing stronger to one another & some even making new friends with other church kids, fuller in their faith during small group & closer in their walk with the Lord. Plan on joining us next year for Kid Quake 2013!
