Our HistoryThe First Presbyterian Church of Athens was established in May1855 by Reverend Robert Hodge with nine founding members. The church has served the Athens area for over one hundred and fifty years. While history is important to our members, we live in the present and plan for the future. We are a growing congregation, dedicated to serving God in practical ways in our church and community and learning to live more like Christ.
